WSA to hold Feb. 22 town hall on shootings, WMU alert system

The Western Student Association will host a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, February 22, in the East Ballroom of the Bernhard Center to discuss the February 20 shootings in Kalamazoo and concerns that have been raised about the WMU emergency alert system. The alert system was not used to inform the campus community about the unfolding incidents on the night of the 20th. All members of the campus community are invited to attend.

Speakers will include WMU President John Dunn, WMU Public Safety Chief Scott Merlo, and other university officials.
