Following the academic calendar, the WMU-AAUP offices at Montague House will close for the holiday recess at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, and reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016.

And don’t forget that your new year will be a bit more prosperous: In addition to the 2% salary increase for faculty in September 2015, faculty will also see their research adjustment — an additional salary increase of 1% of the median at rank — beginning with the first paycheck in January 2016. Thank you, 2014 bargaining team!

Faculty members who need assistance during the closure are invited to email the officers. However, please be advised that because of holiday travel plans and family commitments, we may not be able to respond immediately.
