The faculty has voted overwhelmingly to ratify the tentative agreement.

The WMU Board of Trustees will meet on September 30 to hold their ratification vote. If they vote to approve the new contract, which we believe they will do, it will go into effect immediately. Salary increases will be retroactive to the beginning of the academic year.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the ratification vote and to all who supported our team throughout the negotiation process. Your visible and vocal support made an unequivocal difference at the table and in the new contract.
