Thanks to all who contributed to the record turnout at the Fall BBQ on Tuesday, September 3. It was great to see you and your families come together at Montague House for an evening of fun, good food, and good company as we kick off another new school year as well as our 2013-14 contract campaign. Many thanks to the phenomenal (and WMU’s own) Allison Downey & John Austin, who rocked the house, and to the extraordinary young talents of Four Corners Jazz (WMU students Chelsea Helm, Nich Mueller, Brooke Lauritzen, and Jack Shales) for making the 2013 BBQ an event to remember.

Thanks also to all the Association Council and Executive Committee reps who showed up early to help out and get the party started. And finally, extra special thanks go to the wonderful and indispensable Susan Esman and Lori Maguire, who in addition to running the WMU-AAUP office with the utmost professionalism all year round also know how to throw one hell of a party!
